Dear Customers,

On Friday, 13/12/2024, a DB freight train collided with a truck loaded with construction debris near Marienborn, Germany. One of the consequences of this serious accident is damage to the railway tracks and sleepers over a length of approximately 100 meters.

For this reason, the line has been completely closed in the affected section and only detours are available, but with various restrictions. It is therefore necessary to expect delays and irregularities of international and domestic trains between the hinterland and the ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven, but also in connections from/to Rotterdam and Duisburg.

The damaged section of the line was cleaned over the weekend and planning is now underway for its repairs and reopening, which we can expect on Wednesday at the earliest.
