In Newsletter no. 58/2022 we informed you about the plan to introduce an online reservation system for MTrucks at METRANS Budapest-Csepel (BUCS) Terminal as well.

We are pleased to announce that after a successful test phase, we are starting MTrucks in full operation from 1 October 2022. The MTrucks app will be available for all hauliers to download from the Apple Store or Google Play.

Thanks to this application, we will improve planning, make the work of drivers more efficient and minimize waiting times. Drivers will be able to choose the most suitable slot, which they will then receive a confirmation of through the application, and entry to the terminal will only be possible with a valid slot reservation through MTrucks. However, it still applies that documentation, customs documents, etc. must be ensured by the drivers.

On this occasion, we would like to inform you that the construction of the 4th gantry crane is proceeding according to schedule, completion is planned for October and the start of trial operation from mid-October. Thanks to the 4th gantry crane, the handling of trains and trucks will be accelerated, and the operation of the terminal will improve overall.
