Update 20.09.2021:
We would like to inform you about a continuing 12-24 hour train delay in both import and export directions from/to Koper due to rail transport restrictions on the Slovenian railways. Unfortunately, because of the continuous delays, we are forced to reorganize our trains from/to Koper and cancel 5 pairs of trains once again.
We are monitoring the situation closely and we would like to assure you that we are trying to minimize the impact of the delays on your shipments as much as possible.
In case of any questions regarding the actual planning of your transport orders and transit times from/to Koper, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Department.

We would like to inform you that in the future the following line and track closures will be performed on the SŽ network due to construction and maintenance works in order to maintain the safety and quality of transport at the highest level:

Ljubljana – Divaca – Sezana line; section Ljubljana – Brezovica
As part of the modernization project of the Ljubljana – Divača railway line, the renovation of the first section began in August. The modernization will last by sections until 2027.

From 23th of August 2021 until the 15th of January, on the line Ljubljana – Sežana border on the section Ljubljana – Brezovica one track will be closed.
The capability of the line will be reduced in this section. Major obstacles to the implementation of the operational timetable are envisaged in the Ljubljana area and in the Ljubljana – Divača section. Given the share of freight train traffic on the Ljubljana – Divača route, deviations from the timetable will also have an impact on the implementation of the timetable on the entire SŽ network.
Divača – Koper line:
Due to urgent maintenance work, the following closures will be carried out in September.
On 13.09.2021, from 9.00 to 19.00, daily closure of the Divača – Koper line;
On 20.09.2021, from 9.00 to 19.00, daily closure of the Divača – Koper line;
On 27.09.2021, from 9.00 to 17.00, daily closure of the Divača – Koper line;
On 11.10.2021, from 9.00 to 18.00, daily closure of the Divača – Koper line;
On 25.10.2021, from 9.00 to 18.00, daily closure of the Divača – Koper line;
Maribor – Šentilj border:
Due to the upgrade of the line on the section Maribor – Šentilj m. the following continuous closures will be carried out in September.

On 13.09.2021, from 8.30 to 18.30, daily closure of the Kranj -Jesenice line;

Pragersko Station:
In August, the renovation of Pragersko Station has started. It will entail complete closures of
individual station tracks, large parts of the station area, and individual interstation sections towards
neighboring stations.
