Dear Customers,

Based on a notice from the railway infrastructure manager of Hungary (MÁV), a closure of line 1 MÁV Budapest – Komarno was announced  in Newsletter No.99 on 19/09/2023, which is currently taking place from 18/09/2023 until 09/12/2023.

Based on the announcement of the Railways of the Slovak Republic (ŽSR), a complete railway lockout will be taking place at the Komarno (SK) / Komarom (HU) border crossing between 28/09/2023 and 20/10/2023.

During this period, no rail traffic will be allowed to transit through the given border crossing.

We have operationally diverted our company’s trains through alternative border crossing stations Sturovo / Szob (HU) and Rusovce / Rajka (HU).

Due to the increased load of the replacement diversion trains, the Koper – Dunajska Streda v.v. and Dunajska Streda – Budapest v.v. trains may be delayed by approximately 3-5 hours.

In case of any questions regarding the current planning of your shipments and transit times from/to Koper, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Department.
