The Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) has announced a plan of works on increasing capacity of rail access to railway station part Mühlenwerder, the connecting point of the Burchardkai terminal in Hamburg.

But, in connection with these works on improvement of the railway line, the railway access to the Burchardkai terminal will also be completely interrupted on several occasions.

The first lockout – suspension of railway operation to the Burchardkai terminal will take place on the weekend:

• January 16th 2021, 6am – January 17th 2021, 4pm

METRANS trains destined for the Burchardkai terminal will not operate at that time. Other shorter lockouts without the possibility of railway access to the Burchardkai terminal will follow

• January 20th 2021, 4pm – 7pm

• February 6th 2021, 6am – 4pm

• February 7th 2021, 6am – 2pm

• February 13th 2021, 6pm – February 14th 2021 6am

and works on the railway infrastructure will further continue until June.

to and from the Burchardkai terminal in Hamburg when planning your transports.
