Dear Business Partner,

unfortunately, we have to inform you about an accident on the railway line leading from/to the Adriatic. On Friday,  25 November 2022, in the early morning hours, a freight train loaded with tank containers containing dangerous goods derailed at Komárno railway station. For this reason, the Komárno – Komárom border crossing and the Komárno – Zlatná na Ostrove section in the direction of Dunajská Streda are impassable.

Considering the extent of the accident, it can be assumed that the work to eliminate the consequences continues through the entire week 48.

We are diverting our trains via alternative routes, but significant delays are to be expected.

Also, according to the attached notification from Slovenian Railways, we would like to inform you about events that also affect our service from/to the Adriatic.

The above-mentioned restrictions will affect the frequency and transit time of our trains from/to the Adriatic, so please count with possible delays when planning your transports.
