Dear Customers,

With regard to our Newsletter No. 76/2024 from 12/08/2024, where we informed you about the planned rail traffic restriction on the MÁV network, we would like to inform you about the current situation regarding the Gubacsi Bridge.

According to officially confirmed information from MÁV Zrt., the reconstruction works on the Gubacsi Bridge have been successfully carried out during the previous closures and further closures planned until the end of 2024 have been cancelled. However, the traffic restriction across the bridge remains in force.

Despite these circumstances, the situation on the connection from/to Budapest is still not ideal and we have a large volume of containers in the network waiting to be delivered to  Budapest – BUCS terminal, especially from Dunajska Streda- DUST terminal.  However, by cancelling the closure we will try to increase our capacity in this direction.
