TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF SHIPPING CONTAINERS
Shipping containers meet high safety standards and, thanks to their robust construction, provide reliable protection even under demanding operating conditions. They are made of 2 mm thick profiled steel sheets. They are suitable for both road and rail transport and also provide an ideal solution for the secure storage of goods and materials.
A container consists of the following components:
- Robust steel structure ensuring maximum load capacity and strength.
(During sea transport, containers can be stacked up to 16 units high.) - 35–45 mm thick plywood flooring.
- Forklift pockets for easy handling.
- Corner castings for crane lifting.
- Double-leaf doors at the front of the container.
- Locking bars for secure door closure.
- Ventilation openings providing natural airflow.
