Dear Business Partner,
 

We would like to inform you that the unfavourable situation in rail transport in Slovenia persists. We have to keep reorganising our trains and apply cancellations every day. Today, we were forced to cancel 5 pairs of trains.
 

Despite our efforts, we are currently unable to replace the cancelled capacity. Unfortunately, the lack of capacity will affect the transit time of our trains from/to Koper. Therefore, please take this fact into account when planning your shipments.
 
We would like to provide you with an up-to-date summary of closures received from the Slovenian Railways for the month of August. In particular, we draw your attention to the closure of Divača – Koper, which will take place from 26/08/2023 from 7:00 a.m. to 29/08/2023 until 7:00 p.m.
 

The mentioned restrictions will affect the capacity and transit time of our trains from/to Koper.
 

We also remind you of the closure of the Gubacsi railway bridge due to reconstruction works, which we informed you about in our Newsletter No. 18/2023 on 21/02/2023. A complete lockout will take place on the following days:
 

26/08/2023 from 9:00 p.m. – 29/08/2023 until 03:00 a.m.

In this period, METRANS BUDAPEST (BUCS) Terminal will not be accessible by rail, but during the lockout the terminal will provide all the activities related to truck deliveries, handling and storage.
