Based on information from the Railway Infrastructure Manager of Slovenia, we would like to inform you about important events from the last week, which significantly affected the situation on the railway corridor from/to Koper:
 

• 29/07 – between 3:35 p.m. – 7:18 p.m. – unexpected closure between Zagorje – Sava due to railway track damage
• 29/07 – between 7:10 p.m. – 8:22 p.m. – unexpected closure between Pivka – Ilirska Bistrica due to railway track damage
• 31/07 – between 1:20 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. – left and right railway track closure between Sejana – Villa Opicina due to an incident
• 31/07 – between 5:00 a.m. – 11:22 a.m. – left railway track closure between Prestranek – Pivka due to urgent repair
• 31/07 – between 8:35 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. – left railway track closed between Trbovlje – Zagorje due to urgent repair
• 01/08 – at 9:31 a.m. a damaged RMG crane was reported in the harbour
• 01/08 – between 2:38 p.m. – 3:37 p.m. – unexpected closure between Divaca – Rodik due to possible railway track deformation
• 01/08 – between 2:36 p.m. – 3:05 p.m. – unexpected closure between Brezice – Krsko due to railway track damage
• 02/08 – between 8:38 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. – unexpected closure between Zagorje – Sava due to a landslide sensor report
• 02/08 – between 10:35 a.m. – 1:51 p.m. – breakdown at Ljubljana station with delayed release of freight trains until 10:10 a.m. (03/08)
• 02/08 – between 7:00 p.m. – 3:15 a.m. (03/08) – track closed between Lipovci – Ljutomer due to damaged power lines due to storm
• 03/08 – between 10:45 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – closed right railway track Kresnice – Laze due to repair
• 03/08 – between 6:15 p.m. – 8:40 p.m. – unexpected closure between Litija – Kresnice due to an incident

 
Rail traffic within the infrastructure of Slovenia is still very slow, we are currently experiencing delays of 24+ hours. For this reason, we were forced to reorganise our trains from/to Koper and cancel 4 pairs of trains.
Furthermore, we received a plan of lockouts for the month of August from the Administrator of the Railway Infrastructure of Slovenia, which will continue to influence the planning. For more information, click here.
