Restrictions that will result in an impact on the operation of METRANS BUDAPEST terminal – UPDATE No. 2

Vased on the information received from Hungarian State Railways (MÁV), we would like to inform you about the next phases of necessary and planned railway closures in
October and November.

On transport line no. 227, leading to our METRANS BUCS terminal via Gubacsi Bridge, MÁV is planning the next phase of necessary reconstruction works and a complete railway closure in the following periods:

Complete closure of railway between 6 am and 6 pm:

• 2.10. 2020 – 4.10.2020 (Friday to Sunday)
• 24.10.2020 – 25.10.2020 (Staurday to Sunday)
• 13.11.2020 – 15.11.2020 (Friday to Sunday)

Throughout those periods, METRANS BUDAPEST (BUCS) terminal will be not accessible by rail. During the lockout, the terminal will provide all the activities related to trucking, handling, and storage. Please take into account the above-mentioned restrictions when planning shipments from/to METRANS BUCS terminal.

The restrictions may affect both the transit time and the handling of incoming and outgoing trains. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the inevitable reconstruction works on the mentioned railway line. At the same time, we want to assure you that we will adjust our terminal operations and rail planning so that these restrictions have the least possible impact on the quality of service.

The relevant departments of our Customer Service will provide you with the necessary information regarding the planning of shipments during closures.
