Starting on 4 November 2019, the cooperation between LUTRA GmbH and METRANS was established in order to serve the customers in the vicinity of the capital of Germany.

Situated 25 km south-east of Berlin, the (GVZ) Schönefelder Kreuz logistics center is now connected with regular trains of the METRANS network on their way to and from ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven. The strategically positioned terminal is directly connected to the A10 road (Berliner Ring).

Features of this terminal include:

• Trucking deliveries
• Container terminal and depot for empty containers with the METRANS standard
• VGM – Weighing to SOLAS
• Dangerous goods possible
• Reefer container – Plug Ins
• Customs clearance
• All processes controlled by the central METRANS IT system
