METRANS was proud to host representatives of the Rail Freight Corridor “AMBER” (RFC AMBER) during the latest meeting of its Railway and Terminal Advisory Group at its Dunajska Streda HUB terminal.

After discussing the important issues, possible approaches and improvements, twenty participants from four countries saw a presentation of METRANS’ operations, terminals and future development plans. And they got to see the terminal at work with their own eyes – by personally visiting the Dunajska Streda terminal.

RFC AMBER is one of 11 pan-European freight corridors, connecting the Port of Koper and Slovenia with Hungary, Slovakia and central and eastern Poland. It is a critical rail freight connection between the CEE countries and the world via the Adriatic Port. METRANS’ expansion plans for south-eastern Europe align well with improved rail freight connections strived for by the RFC11 – AMBER.
