EUROGATE Group has confirmed to us the information published on its website about the newly introduced rule for the delivery of export containers.
As you can see in the below letter, it is now mandatory to deliver containers for export to specific ships no earlier than 7 days before the ship’s scheduled arrival at the port of Bremerhaven. This rule enters into force for containers delivered from 30.05.2022 and applies in Bremerhaven at Eurogate and MSC Gate terminals until further notice. We hereby ask you to take this information into account when planning your shipments.
The decisive source of information on the arrival and departure of ships, which we are now obliged to follow when planning the departure of containers to the port, can be found here: EUROGATE infogate – Sailing list Bremerhaven, column Earliest receive.
Considering the current trend in significant vessel delays and the above-mentioned rule that we will act in accordance with, there may incur extra costs for transporting or storing containers at another terminal. Our company cannot be held liable for these additional costs, and if these costs are received, we will be forced to reinvoice them to you.
Thank you for your understanding and we believe that we will manage to cope with the new rule so that it only has a minimal impact on your shipments.
