Dear Customers,

Based on the information received from the Railway Infrastructure Manager of Hungary (MÁV), we would like to inform you about the planned closures from May to September 2024.
On the Gubacsi railway bridge and the connected railway line leading to our METRANS BUDAPEST Terminal (BUCS), the infrastructure manager MÁV is planning necessary reconstruction works in recurring 72-hour lockout periods:

• 11/05/2024 from 7:00 a.m. – 14/05/2024 till 7:00 a.m. (72 hours)
• 25/05/2024 from 7:00 a.m. – 28/05/2024 till 7:00 a.m. (72 hours)
• 08/06/2024 from 7:00 a.m. – 11/06/2024 till 7:00 a.m. (72 hours)
• 22/06/2024 from 7:00 a.m. – 25/06/2024 till 7:00 a.m. (72 hours)

On these dates, METRANS BUDAPEST Terminal (BUCS) will not be accessible by rail, but during the closure the terminal will provide all activities related to truck deliveries, handling and storage.
The above-mentioned reconstruction works continue on the given section in recurring 10-hour closures on the following days:

On these days, train planning will be adapted to the current situation on this section.
When planning shipments through this terminal, please take into account the listed restrictions, which may affect the transit time and handling of inbound and outbound trains.
We apologise for any complications caused by the necessary reconstruction works on the railway, but we would also like to assure you that we will adapt terminal operations and train scheduling so that these restrictions have as little impact as possible on the quality of our service. In the event of any change, we will keep you informed.
The relevant Customer Service Departments will provide you with the necessary information regarding the planning of shipments during the lockout.
