Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you of the dates during May 2024 when train services will be restricted at the Ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven.

As part of the public holiday 01/05/2024, operations at the terminals will be terminated during the afternoon of 30/04/2024 and resumed again in the morning of 02/05/2024.
On the public holiday 09/05/2024, the terminals will operate on a limited basis.
A complete suspension of train handling at all terminals will take place during the Pentecost holidays from 19/05/2024 to 20/05/2024.

There are also closures in May due to construction and reconstruction works. The port authorities take advantage of the Pentecost holidays to implement them:

Hamburg
04/05/2024, 6 a.m.– 05/05/2024, 6 a.m. and 18/05/2024, 00:00 – 20/05/2024, 12 p.m. the railway access to Burchardkai and Eurogate / Eurokombi terminals will be closed.

Wilhelmshaven
18/05/2024, 4 a.m. – 21/05/2024, 4 a.m. the railway access to the port will be closed.

We are sorry that all these facts have a negative effect on our services. We will try to dispatch our connections in a way that minimises the impact on scheduled capacities.
