Dear Customers,
 

Based on an announcement from DB Netz AG, we unfortunately have to inform you that there will be a temporary closure of the approach line to METRANS terminal Berlin / Königs Wusterhausen due to construction work.

As a result, we are forced to cancel several pairs of our trains between Berlin and the Port of Hamburg. The closure will take place during the following period:

10.11.2023 – 22.11.2023   →   6 pairs of trains cancelled

Due to the closure, the last import train from Hamburg will depart on 08.11.2023 and the first will depart on 24.11.2023. The last train from Königs Wusterhausen will depart on 09.11. and the first after the closure on 24.11.2023.

During the closure, we are ready to handle your shipments via METRANS Usti nad Labem or Leipzig terminals. In addition, we are also able to provide you a direct truck solution. If you do not have a price offer for the alternative routings, please contact our pricing department at prices@metrans.de. Our colleagues will be happy to assist you.

Despite the rail track closure, METRANS Berlin / Königs Wusterhausen terminal remains open and will handle all road deliveries and depot activities within the following opening hours:

Monday – Friday              06:30-15:00          
Saturday – Sunday          closed
