Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you about the changes in the surcharges for the period of the first quarter of 2025.
Fuel Surcharge – FS
Fuel price developments in Europe have allowed us to revise and in some cases even cancel the fuel surcharge. From 1 January 2025, we will continue to apply FS in AT, RO, HU and DE, including transports between port terminals.

Traction Energy Surcharge – TES
Input energy prices remain stable. For Q1, the surcharge will be applied at the same level as in the previous period.

Rail Infrastructure Surcharge – RIS
Due to the present situation and the present level of information, we have decided to keep the Rail Infrastructure Surcharge unchanged for Q1. The forecast for the further development of railway support is therefore uncertain. It cannot be ruled out that there will be a further negative adjustment, due to the unforeseen budgeting issues in Germany, which could also affect rail transport even more. Further developments will be monitored and following further decisions by the relevant authorities, we will reevaluate the RIS accordingly for Q2 at the earliest.

Detour Surcharge – DTS
The road closure in the Vimperk region of the Czech Republic has been temporarily suspended and work on this section should start again in the spring. For this reason, we are suspending the Detour Surcharge for the area. Other DTS surcharges remain in force for the first quarter at the same level as in the previous period.

Toll
Most European countries are increasing their tolls. This will be reflected by including an adequate toll component in our all-in prices and, in the case of Hungary, by increasing the toll surcharge itself. As of 1 January 2025, the additional CZ toll surcharge will be cancelled. The situation in Slovakia is still unclear. If the local government decides to increase the toll during 2025, we will be forced to issue an additional toll for Slovakia. As soon as we have the exact details, we will inform you.
