We have become accustomed to the fact that our services to/from North German ports are constantly facing various obstacles. From Wednesday 09/04/2025, however, the situation has got a little more complicated.
 
Trains in the direction of Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven are currently experiencing the biggest delays due to unplanned line closures around Hannover. There has been a slope slide in the area of this important railway junction. Detour routes are up to 200 km long and overcrowded. On the way to the north, we are therefore forced to continuously stop a changing number of trains.
 
The same event is also blocking traffic to/from Rotterdam and Duisburg.
 
This disrupted train circulation also has a major impact on our service to/from Hamburg, which is also slowed down by recurring delays at the port terminals.On Sunday 13/04/2025, a train derailed at Eurokombi Hamburg. The aftermath was completely removed during this morning, but it will still result in longer unloading/loading times.
 
For the reasons described above, combined with the closure at Bohusovice and in the Elbe Valley area, it is necessary to expect significant delays for shipments to/from CZ and SK.
 
We are constantly monitoring the situation and working to mitigate the negative consequences..
