Dear Customers,
In recent weeks we have informed you about the situation in the Port of Koper and the restrictions on rail transport in Slovenia. Due to a combination of unfavourable circumstances in recent days, we have again been forced to reorganise our trains to/from Koper, resulting in slower train clearance at SŽ / INFRA.
These include:
- restrictions on the SŽ infra due to extreme temperatures and the resulting temporary reduction in line speed,
- track derailments in Slovenia, planned and unexpected closures on Slovenian infrastructure,
- complete closure on 07/07/2025 from 8:40 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Cepisce Presnica – Koper line
We also draw your attention to events that have an impact on the delay of trains to/from Dunajska Streda and the impact on rail traffic in Hungary:
- interruption of transport 06/07/2025 on the section Dunajska Streda – Bratislava from 3:15 p.m. to 0:25 a.m. caused by a track derailment in the section Podunajske Biskupice – Nove Kosariska,
- damage of the overhead contact line 07/07/2025 on the section Kuty – Kuty st.hr today at 2:30 a.m., resulting in interruption of railway transport on the given section in the time from 2:35 a.m. – 9:37 a.m.,
- slow operation on the section from/to Hungary due to a persistent problem with the operation of the new railway information system VIHAR2 operated by GYSEV Zrt. and the associated automatic transfer of train data between the railway companies and the line system,
- complete closure of the line Repcelek – Porpac, the closure is scheduled to end on 15/07/2025 at 12:00 a.m.
Due to these restrictions, longer transit times of trains have to be expected.
We expect an update on the North German ports later today.
If you have any questions regarding the current planning of your shipments and transit times, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Department.
