Accident on German Railway Infrastructure

Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you about today’s accident, which is negatively affecting most of our services on the northwestern corridors.

At around 3 a.m. today, a foreign train derailed in Falkenberg, Germany. This incident has practically halted rail traffic in both import and export directions. This is the diversion route currently in use between Berlin and Hamburg due to the ongoing total closure of the main corridor. Traffic was partially restored in both directions around noon today, and the situation is expected to be fully resolved by this evening.

However, the accident will cause delays of several hours for all our services to and from northern German ports, Rotterdam, and Duisburg. This does not apply to trains to and from Poland and the German national network.
