Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you that there are currently no closures in the Elbe Valley, which greatly facilitates our planning and overall operations to/from northern ports.
Connections to/from Rotterdam and Duisburg are now approaching normal timetable operations, as are export trains to Hamburg and Bremerhaven. Unfortunately, imports from these two ports are still experiencing significant delays, but these are gradually being reduced. Wilhelmshaven continues to suffer delays due to a crack in the Hunterbrücke bridge, but on a positive note, trains are still passing through.
We would now like to remind you of the previously announced restrictions that will continue to affect us:
19-24/11/2025: Kornwestheim terminal will be closed to rail traffic.
21-24/11/2025: Complete closure of the Bremen Neustadt–Delmenhorst line for trains to/from Wilhelmshaven. Unfortunately, there is no alternative route, so train delays of around 20 hours are to be expected during this period.
1-10/12/2025: Complete closure of the Elbe Valley, which will result in a significant reduction in transport capacity.
5-8/12/2025: Complete closure of the Bremen Neustadt–Delmenhorst line for trains to/from Wilhelmshaven. Combined with the closure in the Elbe Valley, this will result in significant capacity restrictions and delays.
10-21/12/2025: Closure at RSC Rotterdam terminal with significant restrictions on rail transport.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience during these times when various restrictions are complicating the operation of our trains and the work of our crews. Our Customer Service is always available to answer any questions you may have about your shipments.
