Dear Customers,
Due to controlled access to ports, the overall situation on the German railway network has significantly worsened since yesterday. Infrastructure managers are imposing strict restrictions on routes to/from the main ports. From the Czech Republic to Děčín, only trains that do not have Hamburg or Bremen/Bremerhaven as their final destination are being prioritized. As a result, a large number of our train sets are blocked and unavailable for loading, leading to significant delays and train cancellations.
Hamburg: HPA continues to regulate train entry. CTB reports damage to one of its cranes. Repairs are expected to take approximately 14 days and will require the temporary closure of several tracks. The terminal will operate at reduced capacity and will not be able to accept requests for additional volumes or ad hoc slots.
Bremerhaven: Bremenports continues to regulate train entry. The circulation of train sets is under extreme pressure, with delays in both directions reaching several days.
- Germany: Construction works are taking place near the access bridge to the DUSS Leipzig terminal. From 23 March to approximately 17 April 2026, traffic will be controlled by traffic lights, and longer waiting times are expected.
Rotterdam / Duisburg: Delays of up to 24 hours are being recorded due to transit through Germany and a train derailment in Duisburg-Ruhrort on 23 March 2026. Track repairs have been completed; however, due to damage to the overhead lines, passage is only possible with diesel traction until 28 March 2026.
Gdańsk: Trains are currently running with delays of approximately 13 hours. The backlog persists mainly due to a line closure between Česká Třebová and Havířov. The BalticHub terminal is operating this week with slot capacity reduced by 20%. Import capacities are fully booked until 16 April 2026 inclusive, and it is currently not possible to request an additional train.
