unfortunately, we have to inform you about the collision of two freight trains that occurred yesterday 17.11.2022 on the route Hannover – Wolfsburg.

Due to the mentioned reason, rail traffic is significantly limited on this section, which has a crucial impact on our services on the route Berlin – Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Duisburg.

The impact on connections with Hamburg, Bremerhaven is moderate, trains are running with a slight delay. The operation of trains heading from / to Rotterdam and Duisburg was more seriously affected by this event. These trains are routed through a detour route with a smaller maximum tonnage, resulting in significant delays.
