Following our previous Newsletter No. 039/2025 dated 05.05.2025, we would like to inform you about the current situation on the corridor from/to the port of Koper.
 
Due to the still persisting unfavourable situation of rail transport in Slovenia, ongoing closures and capacity problems of SŽ TP and also the difficult situation of the port LUKA Koper, we are still forced to modify the schedule of train departures on a daily basis and to reduce the number of trains. The current delay is 12 hours. Trains to/from Koper are scheduled depending on the turnover of resources, which is, however, very slow.
 
The overall planning of shipments from the port of Koper is slowed down due to planned permanent and urgent closures and the closures listed below had a significant impact on train departures. We had to cancel 8 pairs of trains last week which resulted in significant delays in rail transport.
– Continuous closure on 25.05.2025 from 08:00 to 26.05.2025 19:00 on the line between Divača- Koper,
– closure between Rakek and Postojna stations on 26.05.2025 from 19:17 to 27.05.2025 until 19:00,
 
Hence, delays in planning your shipments should be expected. Additional trains will be planned taking into account the capacity of the railway infrastructure in Slovenia.
