Dear Customers,
In recent weeks, we have informed you about the situation in the Port of Koper and the restrictions on rail transport in Slovenia. In the last few days, we were forced to reorganize our trains from/to Koper again and cancel 11 pairs of trains due to a combination of unfavorable circumstances across the entire Slovenian railway infrastructure:
- Ljubljana – several tracks out of service due to modernization, continuously until 23.12.2024
- Sava – Litija – Kresnice section – right track out of service on a double-track line due to investment modernization at Litija
- Preserje – Borovnica – Verd section – right track out of service on a double-track line due to maintenance
- Borovnica station – left track and switch connections out of service due to maintenance
- Unexpected complete track closure Poljčane – D. Gora, 22.07.2024 from 05:15 – 10:35, only one track will be operational in this section for several days
- Extremely high temperatures
Despite our best efforts, we are currently unable to replace the canceled capacity. Due to these limitations on the corridor, our capacities remain limited. Unfortunately, the lack of capacity will affect the transit time of our trains from/to Koper.
