Dear Customers,

Unfortunately, the situation after the strikes in the North German ports has not yet fully stabilised. Some terminals in Hamburg are now experiencing significant delays.

This is particularly the case at Burchardkai Terminal, where operations are delayed by 48 hours. CTA Terminal, which did not accept trains at all over the weekend, is now accepting trains on a very limited basis due to overcrowding, and many trains are stopped waiting for slot allocation.

These restrictions not only cause a significant slowdown of the entire clearance system, but also disrupt the entire METRANS shipment circulation system and ultimately result in enormous extra work and associated extra costs.

We are very sorry, but these complications are beyond our control. They will unfortunately have a noticeable impact on all our services between the hinterland and the whole Port of Hamburg.
