Today, on May 26, 2026, during the morning hours, a locomotive derailed while being handled at the CTA terminal in the Port of Hamburg. As a result of this accident, the CTA terminal is currently completely inaccessible for rail traffic.
 
Currently, there is no precise information available regarding the restoration of operations. However, it should be expected that the removal of the consequences of the accident will take several days.
