Referring to our previous Newsletter No. 69/2022 from 17 June 2022, we would like to inform you about the current operating situation on the northern ports corridor – CZ/SK/AT/HU.
 
The course of Friday’s events and the following Saturday’s closure at Waltershof railway station in Hamburg considerably complicated the operation of all trains between the Port of Hamburg and CZ/SK/AT/HU. Trains on these routes are currently operating with a significant delay, increased by an issuance of a ban on receiving trains to Hamburg during Saturday due to congested infrastructure, which ranges from 20 to 48 hours, both in the import and export directions.
 
Together with all interested parties, we are trying to eliminate the delays through operational planning and thus reduce the impact on your shipments on the connection with Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Rotterdam ports.
