Dear Customers,

In regard to yesterday’s news about the possibility of a strike in German ports, we have to inform you that the strike has actually started today. The strike has been ongoing in the Ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven since 7:00 and it will last for 24 hours.
 
The suspension of port operations and handling of trains will lead to significant delays. As a result, METRANS must cancel at least 12 pairs of its trains in both import and export directions.
 
Although this is a considerable intervention in our service, we will try to minimize the consequent delays and their impacts.
