we would like to inform you about a few extraordinariness that will affect our service.
Interruption of power supply at METRANS Ceska Trebova terminal
We would like to inform you about the electricity supply interruption at the METRANS Ceska Trebova terminal planned for 26/10/2021 08:00 – 18:00. This interruption will lead to the temporary suspension of operation of gantry cranes with important limitations to terminal operation. The power interruption will affect the transit time of shipments ordered via terminal Ostrava and Zlin, as the feeder trains cannot be dispatched on 26/10/2021 as well.
METRANS will try to minimize the impact of power supply interruption by loading shipments on both railcars and trucks in advance. However, considering the length of the power supply interruption, there cannot be excluded that some planned shipments will be delayed.
Full railway closure on the railway track between Decin – Bad Schandau
Due to reconstruction work of the railway track close to train station Schöna, the freight rail traffic will be completely stopped from November 10th, 2021 04:10 a.m. to November 15th, 2021 04:10 a.m. METRANS trains (services Czech Republic / Slovakia – Hamburg / Bremerhaven / Rotterdam / Duisburg) will be routed via Cheb and via Poland (Lichkov). Unfortunately, these alternative routings don’t dispose of with sufficient capacity, therefore we expect significant delays and following irregularities. For that reason, METRANS will not be able to guarantee any delivery dates and cannot be liable for any delays in your shipments during this period.
