Dear Business Partner,Based on the information received from the Hungarian State Railways (MÁV), we would like to inform you about the planned railway closures in November and December 2022.

On railway line No. 227, leading to our METRANS BUCS Terminal, MÁV is planning necessary construction works and a complete railway closure in the following periods:

November 19, 2022 (Saturday) – from 07:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
November 26, 2022 (Saturday) – from 07:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
December 03, 2022 (Saturday) – from 07:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
December 10, 2022 (Saturday) – from 07:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
December 17, 2022 (Saturday) – from 07:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
December 18, 2022 (Sunday) – from 07:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

During this period, METRANS BUDAPEST (BUCS) Terminal will not be accessible by rail, but during the closure the terminal will provide all activities related to truck deliveries, handling and storage.

When planning shipments through this terminal, please take into account the above-mentioned restrictions, which may affect the transit time and handling of arriving and departing trains.

We apologize for any complications caused by the necessary reconstruction works on the railway, but at the same time we want to assure you that we will adapt terminal operations and train scheduling so that the mentioned restrictions have the least possible impact on the quality of our service.
 
The relevant customer service departments will provide you with the necessary information regarding the planning of shipments during the closure.
