Dear Customers,
Please take note of the latest updates following the past weekend.
We would like to remind you of the full closure in Dresden from 14-16 February 2026, which will restrict services between CZ, SK, HU, AT, the Balkans and the northern German ports, Rotterdam, and Duisburg. We have planned alternative routes via Cheb/Schirnding, Lichkov/Horka, and Chalupki/Horka. Passau is inaccessible due to track renovation works on the Nuremberg–Regensburg line. Unfortunately, the diversion routes do not have sufficient capacity.
Regarding the northern German ports in general, import connections remain fully booked weeks in advance, and the accumulated volume of import shipments at the ports is extremely high.
Hamburg: HPA continues to regulate access to the port. We have had to hold eight trains from across all services while in transit to the port; as a result, we currently lack sufficient wagons and locomotive drivers for import operations.
- DE: Train delays of up to 48 hours due to ongoing maintenance works in transit, as well as delays at port and inland terminals. Some services have had to be cancelled.
- PL: Train delays of up to 24 hours due to ongoing maintenance works in transit, delays at port terminals, and train set rotations. Some services have had to be cancelled.
Bremerhaven: Delays are occurring in both directions due to significant irregularities in train set circulation.
Wilhelmshaven: Import delays due to the recent strike. Another strike by train dispatchers will take place tomorrow, 10 February 2026, from 00:00 to 24:00, affecting our trains to/from Prague on 9 and 10 February 2026.
Gdańsk: The port continues to warn about adverse weather conditions that may limit regular slot capacity. Trains in both directions are currently delayed by approximately 14 hours. The planned slot capacity at the BalticHub terminal has been reduced by 10% for this week. Imports are fully booked until 26 February 2026. It is currently not possible to request an extra train.
