Dear Business Partner,
Based on the development of last week’s events, we would like to inform you about train delays in the export and import direction from/to Koper. The delay is currently up to 24 hours and the main reasons for the delay are the planned closures, which we informed you about in Newsletter No. 141/2022 on 4 November 2022 and obstacles in the railway infrastructure.
In the attachment, you can find information about closures that affect rail transport:
• regularly scheduled closures due to infrastructure work
• unexpected line closure in the Šentilj – Špilje section due to a broken collector on 05.11.2022 from 6:05 p.m to 9:35 p.m.
For the reasons mentioned, we were forced to cancel 5 pairs of trains, which unfortunately could not be dispatched before today’s closure on the Divača-Koper section. Despite our best efforts, we are currently unable to replace the cancelled capacity. Unfortunately, the lack of capacity will have an impact on the transit time of our trains from/to Koper.
