Our HUB terminal in Austria, situated on the Danube River near Vienna, has a new managing director. Robert Andraschko was promoted to the position after being with METRANS for nine years, most recently as a terminal manager.
Robert gained extensive experience in various businesses, from being a vehicle technician to an instructor at the Austrian Army, a business consultant and operations manager, and a fleet supervisor or head of the branch for a construction machinery rental company. Since Robert started work for METRANS, he has gone through all the departments, implementing his ideas, knowledge and teamwork.
When asked about his plans, Robert says: “I certainly want to create stability, not only with customers but with a good team, to be able to meet the requirements in the future. I will also keep an eye on efficiency and solution-oriented management. I want to express my gratitude to my colleagues and the management for the trust they have placed in me. I am looking forward to the new task, and together with Peter Sirotak, I will develop the Krems terminal into an attractive METRANS – interface in our network.”
