Dear Customers,

Based on the report issued by DB InfraGO, we would like to draw your attention to a planned closure on the section of the Hamburg Hbf and Hamburg-Harburg lines for almost one month due to reconstruction work.

This closure will last from 15/07/2024 to 12/08/2024 and will significantly limit the operation of especially freight trains from and to the Port of Hamburg. They will only have a time slot between 9.00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. for their passage. 

For the daily operation of METRANS trains, it was possible to negotiate alternative routes via Uelzen. However, it is necessary to take into account delays which, due to the only crowded alternative line, cannot be predicted in advance. Unfortunately, we are unable to prevent these impacts.
