Dear Customers,

We follow up on our Friday newsletter No. 44/2024, where we announced a strike at the Port of Hamburg. During the past weekend, the situation at the terminals stabilised. All of our services have experienced delays that may persist.

This time, the trade union has called for a strike by the employees of the Port of Bremerhaven as part of the collective agreement negotiations. There will be a work stoppage at Eurogate and NTB terminals on 12/06/2024 from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. NTB terminal has coincidentally scheduled a work meeting for the same day from 2 p.m. to approx. 4:30 p.m, therefore, operations will not resume until around 6:00 p.m., see attachment.

During the strike and meeting, the handling of import and export trains will also be suspended, and therefore, unfortunately, it is necessary to expect delays again for the entire stated period and even after the resumption of operations.
