In our Newsletter No. 053/2026 dated 16 March 2026, we informed you about an adjustment to the fuel surcharge for truck haulage.
The conflict in the Middle East and its negative impact on the global economy continue to intensify and significantly affect fuel prices across respective countries. Although some states have introduced measures to regulate diesel prices, for example through price caps, fuel prices remain at a high level.
 
Unfortunately, we must inform you that, as a result of this development, there will be a further adjustment to the Fuel Surcharge (FS) for truck haulage operations within and across the territories of the Czech Republic, Poland, and Romania. The newly set surcharge level, effective from 8 April 2026, can be found here.
 
In connection with the above situation, the RSC Rotterdam terminal is introducing an Energy Emergency Surcharge (EES) of EUR 1.25 per box, applicable from 1 April 2026. An overview of the EES surcharges can be found here.
