DBO / Beijing TransEurasia and METRANS, with our partners from Ukrzaliznytsia, TransContainer, and ZSSK Cargo successfully renewed the regular train connection between Xian and Dunajska Streda. The weekly service will depart WB from Xian with an estimated transit time of 11 days.

The first – renewal – train reached the METRANS terminal in Dunajska Streda within 11 days. A great proof of an alternative routing via Ukraine and the Slovakian terminal Dobra. The capacities at the border 1520 / 1435 mm at the Dobra terminal show that “it works” and are at the disposal of the client’s requirements. From the METRANS HUB terminal in Dunajska Streda the containers have reached the customers within 48 hours – all across Europe.

The official train arrival was warmly welcomed by the new Ambassador of China in the Slovak Republic – Mr. Sun Lijie, State Secretary at Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic – Mr. Jaroslav Kmet, CEO of ZSSK Cargo – Mr. Roman Gono and CEO of METRANS Group – Mr. Peter Kiss.

Departure from Xian is scheduled for every Monday and the arrival to Dunajska Streda for every Friday / Saturday.
