As we informed you in our Newsletter No. 119/2022 on 06.09.2022, we were forced to revise our surcharges.
Traction Energy Surcharge (TES)
Based on information received from MÁV about the continuous increase of energy prices, with effect from 01.10.2022, we are forced to revise our Traction Energy Surcharge for transport of all containers arriving to/ from Hungary by rail or transiting through Hungary by rail.
You will find a change in the amount of the Traction Energy Surcharge rates for containers transported via our Rotterdam and Duisburg service.
The current amount of Traction Energy Surcharge valid from 01.10.2022 can be found HERE.
The decisive date for the calculation of the traction surcharge for import transportations is the date of departure of the train from the port and for export transportations the date of departure of the train from the terminal to the port.
Fuel Surcharge (FS)
After our revision, we decided to extend the current validity of Fuel Surcharge until further notice.
The current amount of Fuel Surcharge can be found HERE.
The decisive date for the calculation of the fuel surcharge for import shipments is the date of delivery by truck and for export shipments the date of collection by truck.
!NEW SURCHARGE ! Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS)
The introduction and the possible amount of the Port Congestion surcharge is still being discussed and we will inform you about this surcharge on Monday 12.09.2022.
