According to the updates we have received, we will revise our surcharges valid from 01/04/2023 as follows:
Traction Energy Surcharge (TES) – as you were informed at the end of last year, the Hungarian State Railways MÁV announced the price for traction energy for the first quarter of 2023 in the amount of EUR 450.00/MWh.
In recent days, MÁV has announced the price for traction energy for the second quarter of 2023 in the amount of EUR 300.00/MWh. As a consequence, we will revise our Traction Energy Surcharge for transport of all containers arriving to/ from Hungary by rail or transiting through Hungary by rail.
The decisive date for the calculation of the traction surcharge for import transportations is the date of departure of the train from the port and for export transportations the date of departure of the train from the terminal to the port.
Fuel Surcharge (FS) – based on the development of the fuel price, we will revise our Fuel Surcharge for Germany, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary.
The decisive date for the calculation of the fuel surcharge for import shipments is the date of delivery by truck and for export shipments the date of collection by truck.
