Dear Customers,
following the information regarding the increase in prices for the use of the railway infrastructure, we would like to inform you that the existing Rail Infrastructure Surcharge (RIS) introduced for transports carried out on the German railways will also be introduced for transports carried out on the railway network in Hungary.
Hereby, we would like to present the final rates of the RIS surcharge, which will be applied from 01.09.2024 for transports from/to the Northern and Southern ports and between individual METRANS terminals.
Considering that this is a negative trend across Europe, it cannot be ruled out that fee for accessing the railway lines will not be introduced in other countries as well.
We are constantly monitoring the situation and will inform you about further development.
