Dear Customers,

Based on the information received from the Hungarian Railway Infrastructure (MÁV), we would like to inform you about a wagon derailment at Soroksár station in Budapest, which also affects the railway line leading to our METRANS BUDAPEST (BUCS) terminal. You can find the official letter here.

Train service to/from the terminal is completely suspended, trains cannot be dispatched/ accepted and the duration of the repair is not yet known.

The derailment was not caused by METRANS, and unfortunately, we cannot affect the situation.
According to the updated the information received from the Hungarian Railway Infrastructure (MÁV), the line will be reopened around 05:00 p.m.
We are monitoring the situation constantly, as soon as we have any new information, we will inform you.

The relevant customer service departments will provide further information about your current transports.
