Dear Customers,

As we promised in our last newsletter, we are providing you with new information about the current situation on the corridor from/to North German ports.

As a result of Monday’s national holiday in Germany, a considerable amount of import and export shipments accumulated in Hamburg and Bremerhaven as expected. In the import and export direction, we are experiencing delays exceeding 24 hours.

Due to the congested infrastructure, the extra import/export load cannot be dispatched in quick succession to/from the hinterland. We continue to take steps to reduce waiting times in import departures. These currently reach up to 11-19 days. In the export direction, we are managing to maintain the number of planned departures to North German ports, but unfortunately now with the aforementioned delay.
