On a transport line no. 227, leading to our METRANS BUCS terminal via Gubacsi Bridge, MÁV is planning the second and third phase of necessary construction works and a complete railway closure in the following periods:
- From 26 June 2020 (Friday) – 06:00 until 29 June 2020 (Monday) – 02:00
- From 31 July 2020 (Friday) – 06:00 until 3 August 2020 (Monday) – 02:00.
During this period, METRANS BUDAPEST (BUCS) terminal will be not accessible by rail. During the lockout, the terminal will provide all the activities related to trucking, handling, and storage, but there will not be a possibility to receive or send railway shipments and to process trains. Please take into account the above-mentioned restriction when planning shipments from/to METRANS BUCS terminal. This restriction will affect both transit times and also actual handling of trains. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the reconstruction works on the mentioned railway line, and at the same time we are glad we managed to agree on a weekend restriction in cooperation with MÁV. The relevant departments of our Customer Service will provide you with the necessary information regarding the planning of shipments during closures.
