Planned Railway Closures on the Railway Corridor from/to the Adriatic – Update No. 1

Dear Customers,

Based on the attached announcement, we would like to inform you about a railway lockout on the MÁV railway infrastructure. The lockout will take place from 2 September 2022 from 08:00 a.m. to 4 September 2022 until 05:40 p.m. and will concern the Zalaszentiván – Andráshida section. Rail transport via PPS Hodoš/Őriszentpéter will not be possible in the specified period.

We will try to find alternative solutions for trains from/to Koper, but since we will not be able to fully replace the missing capacity, this closure will affect the frequency and transit time of our trains from/to Koper.

In case of any questions regarding the current planning of your shipments and transit times from/to the Port of Koper, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service department.
