We would like to inform you that the situation described in the latest Newsletter No. 85/2023 continues to persist, i.e. reduced passability of the railway infrastructure and congestion of the Port of Koper. As stated by Luka Koper, d.d. in the attached announcement, the container terminal continues to be overcrowded, complicating terminal operations and handling of trains.
For the aforementioned reasons, we were forced to cancel 7 pairs of trains from/to Koper in the last few days.
Despite our best efforts, we are currently unable to replace the cancelled capacity. Due to these restrictions on the corridor, our capacities remain limited. Unfortunately, the lack of capacity will affect the transit time of our trains from/to Koper.
