We would like to inform you about the development of the railway situation around the Port of Hamburg.
 
On Friday, fires were intentionally set in the security technology of the HPA infrastructure in three locations.
 
Two places were completely repaired over the weekend. However, the Hausbruch railway junction in Hamburg, including the Kattwickbrücke backbone railway bridge, is not yet fully operational. The operation is run in ad-hoc mode according to the current HPA infrastructure capabilities. This emergency regime is expected to end by Friday, 15 September 2023.
 
The aforementioned measure continues to impose significant restrictions on rail traffic to the terminals of the Port of Hamburg, and delays in the planning of export and import shipments are also to be expected.
