Dear Business Partners,

Based on an announcement from DB Netz AG, we unfortunately have to inform you that there will be repeated temporary closures of the approach line to METRANS Berlin / Königs Wusterhausen Terminal due to construction work.

As a result, we are forced to cancel several pairs of our trains between Berlin and the Port of Hamburg. The closures will take place during the following periods:
15. 07. – 17. 07. 2022                    ->           1 pair of trains cancelled
05. 08. – 26. 08. 2022                    ->           10 pairs of trains cancelled

Due to the closures in August, the last import train from Hamburg will depart on 03.08. and the first will depart on 29.08.2022. The last train from KoWU will depart on 04.08. and the first after the lockout on 30.08.2022.

As an alternative to METRANS Berlin terminal during the August closure, we are ready to handle your shipments via METRANS Usti nad Labem or Leipzig terminals. If you do not have a price offer for the alternative routings, please contact our pricing department at prices@metrans.de, our colleagues will be happy to assist you.

During the entire period of construction work on the railway, METRANS Berlin / KoWu terminal will handle all road deliveries, transshipment and depot activities within the following opening hours:
Monday – Friday              6:30-15:00          
Saturday – Sunday          closed
